Tips & Tricks

Always hold upright and level when spraying. Never turn completely flat to the left or right, or upside down.

When spraying, do not shake the gun, this will splash solution up into the air valve.

Cup should have 2.5oz at the most in the cup.

"After using the Norvell Oasis at Home Spray Tan System over the last month, I can safely say it’s been one of my best beauty investments. I used to spend a fortune on lotions, but this machine paid for itself in just a couple uses for myself and my family. It’s basically a high-powered spray gun that’s as easy to handle as a hairdryer. "The oasis is a good handheld gun for the value package ! It’s very lightweight and extremely easy to clean. It does tend to run on the warmer side so after you have used it for a while, be careful adjusting the very tip nozzle as it can be hot. I have not done spray tanning on clients since 2008 and I am excited to be back learning on the oasis."

Does it come with the tanning solution?: Yes, this comes with an 8oz of Venetian
I've properly cleaned my gun but it is not sucking up solution or water. I've tried multiple bottles and it is only blowing air. What is the button on the top for on this gun? Also, is there a trick to getting to the filter to clean it?: Hello, The button on top is used to remove the replaceable spray head assembly from the rest of the unit, if it ever needs replaced. The filter is accessed by unscrewing the pink filter cover from the back of the unit. I cannot get the cup tube to stay connected to the spray head. There are two small gaskets, but nothing is providing enough tension to stay put. Any ideas of what I’m missing?: The pickup tube connects to the spray head directly by just sliding the tube into to the spray head insert, the snug fit keeps it in place. If the tube will not stay attached, then usually there is damage/wear to the pickup tube, and it would need to be replaced. On more rare occasions there may be damage to the spray head insert which would require the spray head to be replaced. You should be able to inspect the tube and spray head for any physical damage and replace the appropriate part. If nothing is apparent, I would suggest replacing the tube.
