Norvell Clear Self-Tanning Water Mousse offers a natural-looking, long-lasting tan with a smooth application and pleasant scent. However, opinions vary on its longevity, and it may require reapplication. Specially formulated with Ordenone®, it effectively neutralizes odors.

"Definitely smells amazing when you first apply. The Dha smell doesn’t kick in till hours later. I noticed while in bed since I slept with it on. Woke up looked in mirror and loved it. Easy to apply. Need to reapply to some parts of my hand since I tried to avoid orange palms. Over all, I could see myself use this more often."
"The light foam is similar to foam soaps. It is easy to apply and spread. I find it easier than lotions. The scent is very light and pleasant. As with other tanners, you need to be careful around knees, elbows, toes... It tends to darken unevenly in these areas. I noticed it makes my freckles darker. The photo shows 2 applications over 2 days on my left foot (Yes I have a pickelball tan). I plan to use this on my legs when the weather requires shorts."
"I did not have a mitt at the time I tried this but really wanted to test it to see how it would work on me before committing, so I used my hand to apply on just my left thigh. Because it was quick and less product, I didn’t experience any issues with tanning on my palm by quickly washing my hands with soap after. After a few hours, I didn’t see much change but it gradually tanned by the next day. After about a week, it fades a bit there is still some color. I didn’t experience any chaffing/reactions to using it."
"The tan is gradual, and may need reapplication to reach your desired color. I highly recommend using a mitt for application. I tried using my hand on the first application, and ended up with streaks. Luckily for me, the tan doesn’t last very long, which was a good thing for me at the time, but not so much if you apply correctly and want tan longevity. You will probably need to reapply often. Overall a good product, but not my favorite."
"I’ve tried many self tanners. This one isn’t the worst but I didn’t love it.-no streaks-easy to apply-light scent of actual product-sticky for a couple hours (I’d advise to powder your creases to help this)-you will smell slightly when it’s developing (I have others where I don’t smell like at all so I know what to compare to)-color is nice not too orange but it’s not super dark (medium color)-you will need more than one application for darker tan-looked good on my hands and feet-no color guard since it’s clear-faded nicely and last about 5-7 days depending how moisturized you keep itI hope this was helpful!!! I would repurchase if I wanted a tanner for winter months that didn’t have a color guard."
"Not only has it been eons since I've tried a self-tanner, but I also have sensitive skin. This one performed fabulously as far as application, but falls short for sensitive users by including a couple of icky ingredients for scent.I had to patch test these ingredients, and they did great on my arm but I wouldn't trust the fragrance and Coumarin on my face. Coumarin is included on the list of 26 fragrances that must be named because they are so reactive on more sensitive skin.I'm including photos of the patch test so you can see how this goes on discreetly without leaving a streaky mess or being too dark. It's super easy to spread, and I purposely was sloppy just to see what would happen (and because I know I will be sloppy when I apply more). They've come a long way!I would recommend this for most people, just be aware if you have sensitive skin that this doesn't sky from harsh ingredients."
"I used a pair of mitts - one for exfoliating and one for applying this self-tanning mousse. After a few hours, it started to work. Make sure you have plenty of time to apply, let dry - without needing to shower or get wet. It has a nice tanning effect - no orange color, as far as I can tell. I did my legs first - to get some practice in applying it - and then worked my way up."
"This sunless tanning foam is theeeee best I have ever used. The application is smooth and easy to evenly apply. I did not have any funky weird spots of color build-up. The color was noticeable with just one application and richly developed with the second. And the smell is amazing! I cannot STAND the smell of any other sunless tanners I have used in the past. I have bought and tried many brands, only to throw away 3/4 of a bottle because I couldn't get past the smell, or how terrible the lotion would apply."
"I got a few shades difference in two days. The more you use it the darker tan you get. I can only use it for about 3 days in a row, then take a few days off. If I use it more often I get a little bit of an orange tint. A little goes a long way with this foam, so start off with a pump and add on if needed. If you don't use a tanning glove make sure to wash your hand especially between your fingers and cuticles."
"I hardly use products like this because I'm afraid it will be streaky and orange - but this one is fine! The smell is a bit much but it goes on really well and it wasn't streaky at all. It's foamy and rubs in nicely, and the color it gives isn't too drastic."
